Add a camera
Paste a link to a live public camera — a YouTube live stream, a stream address, or the page it is shown on. It goes into the review queue; if it checks out, it appears in the directory.
How it works
Public agency camera networks, the Windy catalog, YouTube live geo-search, webcam directories, visitor submissions, and AI research agents that hunt down the obscure ones — the dive-shop cam in Sulawesi, the harbor cam whose only listing is in Icelandic.
Nothing is listed on trust. A candidate must be live, embeddable and really where it claims to be, and a second model gets a veto. Once listed, every camera is probed on a rolling schedule; frozen frames and dead streams are demoted, and cameras that stay dead are retired.
Every camera carries a location precision. Agency cameras arrive with surveyed coordinates; discovered ones are accepted only when they can be placed within about a kilometer, and the page they came from must agree.
